Petition to have Glasgow Prestwick International Airport renamed after Robert Burns

A couple of months ago I heard about a petition to have Glasgow Prestwick International Airport renamed after Robert Burns. One of the reasons for this idea is that the airport isn't actually near let alone in Glasgow. Another reason is that Burns is probably one of the most recognised Scottish icons around the world and it is felt the new name would give the area a much need tourist boost! Whatever your thoughts I'd like to hear them... and your support for the petition will be much appreciated too!
