Let the world know about Your Scotland

My husband and I are planning a  visit "home" in September.

We wish to visit Eilean Donan Castle, Skye, The Trossachs, Edinburgh, Stirling  and Glasgow.

Is three weeks enough for this?

Hi Brenda,

It depends on how much you want to see, the way you travel, etc. On my first trip to Scotland (some 25 years ago), I travelled by bus and train, with a backpack, and I saw Edinburgh, Inverness, Ullapool and Fort William. So, yes, I think you can do your trip in 3 weeks. That may or may not include a visit to Loch Ness and climbing Ben Nevis (which I did that year).

Cheers, rick
Many thanks Rick. We plan to hire a car from Glasgow airport then make our way up to Dornie..and I have no plans to climb Ben Nevis!
Hi i would imagine three weeks would do, depends where you are going to base your holiday, but you will have enought time to enjoy this amazing country.

Hi John

Many thanks, loved your site, the photos are stunning.
