Thanks.  I was really pleased with this one.  It was taken on Sunday, the day after the ‘super moon’, so the tide was super low and I could walk for miles out of the bay.  The buildings on the left are the church and the manse, which is three stories high, but here they look dinky.  That very threatening looking cloud followed through with it’s promise.  The weather was terrible yesterday but it’s looking a bit more promising today, so hopefully get a few more good shots.  Think I’ll be hard pushed to beat this one though!

Stayed in Applecross when I toured Scotland many years ago .... was snowing at the time. Amazing part of the Highlands and wonderful people.

right up my street low, low down foreground detail and that sky set off beautifully against the white houses superb.
