- I live on the east coast of the United States. Have loved Scotland since I can remember. Just got back from my third trip there in October. Married, 3 spoiled cats, self-employed. Use my Gaelic version of my name and MacLeod as my last name online; love both names, and if I don't have any Scottish blood in me, I should!! Working on my genealogy for more info about my heritage.

Stuart Earl McClure said… Hello friend, I'm also doing research on my family name. My last name is McClure. I have't any luck, every time I type in my surname it keeps comming up MacCleod. Why is that?
I know the MacCleod is related to the McClure's, but I'm running out of time here. I need to know are the McClure's are related or not?
