Musicians Wanted!
Hi all - am looking for a duo for a Hogmanay gig at a boutique Hotel in Argyll. Will be needed from 9.30pm-12pm (playing 9.30-10.30pm, break half an hour then 11pm-12am. Needs to be acoustic or minimal set up for traditional scottish/folk music, laid back, maybe mini-ceilidh during second set. - 'crafty' mum who likes sewing, vintage fabric and making lovely things. Singer who will sing anything with a tune and some lyrics but loves good, contemporary scottish folk songs (I have a tambourine!!). Admin and project managing freak/junkie-likes getting things done and loves a good list to work through!!
Two small kids (Bobby and Effie), a lovely, big, grumpy husband, a small daft dog and a cantankerous auld cat. All living harmoniously but noisily in a forest-you'll hear us before you see us!!

- It was a few years ago so I think any images I have will be in a box in the loft somewhere LOL!
I played at the Linn gu Linn festival a few years ago, and we were lucky enough to be billeted at the Whistlefield Hotel for that week, and the views of the loch were spectacular. It was a great week. There were quite a few Irish musicians and dancers staying there too and we played sessions well into the small hours, most nights, after our gigs.
