Thank you for getting in touch. My husband and I have only owned it since August 08, but everything is settling down nicely. We have put in some new systems that help the organisation and management but the house itself remains relatively untouched. The hall is just as magnificent as it always was. The bar has had a bit of spruce up but so far that is really it. We have a great new chef there who is doing a super job. With Castleton just down the road there is lots of support for the team there, and we are also using our strengths from our other hotel the Raemoir in Banchory.
I am really hoping that as a little group of 3, Webster Hotels will weather the economic storm.
The GM at the Lands of Loyal, Robert Briers is a very keen golfer and we have great links with the three Alyth courses.
If you want to meet up and visit the any of the hotels, do let me know, it would be my pleasure to show you around.
Best regards
Verity
