I am a singer from West coast of Scotland. I have a 23 year old son Stuart who is autistic and lives at home with me. I also have a lovely boyfriend / partner, Steve who is a sculptor & photographer and also lives in Helensburgh.

I love Scotland, music, cycling and studying the life and works of Robert Burns.
I take an active part in my local community and am a member of the committee, of our newly reconstituted 'Helensburgh Burns Club 225'

Friday the 16th of October 2009, saw the 220th Anniversary of Robert Burns having written 'The Whistle', at Friars Carse.

It's from the singing of Pete Seeger - but whether he wrote it of not, I don't know. I can't remember which album it's from either.
