Blue Flower - is it OK to tweak a photograph?

Is it okay to mess about with photo originals. If you do are you cheating or simply being creative. I have my own views but I shall keep them close to my chest for fear of influencing any discussion…Continue

Should have said that I have an exhibition on just now running in the gallery at Elgin Library and have a 20" x 30" canvas of Moray Firth if you fancy a closer look. Access might be problem this week as there is a book festival on in the gallery as well! There were other visitors during the exhibition! See Here ;) and here ;)

No it's a different sky Scott. I've got another shot from that night and will upload it. Colours are not so rich as the colour changed about 20-30 mins after sundown. In fact I remember taking what ended up as 'Moray Firth' after I'd actually left the beach! You have some nice shots. Did you see the comment I left for you at photo4me for 'Pink Light Of The Day'? Really strange seeing a photo of yourself like that. It's happened to me a few time now.

Cheers

Jim

No probs Scott, just had a look at yours, taken from closer to Tongue I would guess ? a really good pic, doing it justice and a little snaw on the tops always helps. Ventured north at the end of March when there was still a little snow about but the rain started and the wind began to pick up so as I was wildish camping I chickened out at Ullapool and headed back down South, I'll maybe make it that far north next year for a couple of snow clad pics :)
