Sea Glass

The coloured glass at the top of this page is all sea glass , that is, glass I have found on a beach.

Seaglass is pieces of broken glass from any glass object you can imagine, from bottles to crockery, which have spent many years being washed around amongst sand and surf until they are smooth then washed up on the beach by the tide.

If you would like any other info on seaglass just send me a message.

May New Year’s Eve find you seated around the table, together with your beloved family and cherished friends. May you find the food better, the environment quieter, the cost much cheaper, and the pleasure much more fulfilling than anything else you might ordinarily do that night.

May what you see in the mirror delight you, and what others see in you delight them. May someone love you enough to forgive your faults, be blind to your blemishes, and tell the world about your virtues.

May the telemarketers wait to make their sales calls until you finish dinner, may the commercials on TV not be louder than the program you have been watching, and may your check book and your budget balance – and include generous amounts for charity.

May you remember to say “I love you” at least once a day to your spouse, your child, your parent, your siblings; but not to your secretary, your nurse, your masseuse, your hairdresser or your tennis instructor.

And may we live in a world at peace and with the awareness of God’s love in every sunset, every flower’s unfolding petals, every baby’s smile, every lover’s kiss, and every wonderful, astonishing, miraculous beat of our heart.

Happy New Year!

Thanks for inviting me to this site. I grew up on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and spent many days looking for shells and bits of glass..unfortunately with many moves they have gone by the wayside. Will just have to start over which can be a lot of fun!!

I have collected glass, stones and shells for years (often picked up when I toured with the band) - bits of glass that I've picked up off the beach over the years. Lovely little tactile objects. Great colours and shapes. I also have stones from many different beaches in Scotland, as well as some from Scandanavia, and I can remember where every single one came from. I've collected some beautiful shells...the tiniest delicate ones, the thickness of a fingernail, in delicious pastel colours from the Isle of Barra.
Natural things are the most beautiful make the best ornaments. Full of positive energy.
I have then in dishes, glasses and bowls, but I've often wondered if there were better ways of displaying them. any ideas?

Allow me to share some of my music with you which i hope you will enjoy.
