THE NIGHTWATCHMAN
The hum from the cooling system echoed throughout the building a constant –50c had to be maintained at all cost.
Earnest leaned across the table to check the time on his old clock .
Less than an hour of his shift left .
A wee look of worry etched across his face that in an hour he would be finished at warehouse No10

Chris Cuthbert said… Aye, it'll be a learning curve. Can still use it as it progresses though. Plenty tax and mot on it so its a rolling project. Will keep you posted adn send you on a photo or two when it arrives this week
Chris Cuthbert said… As ever with me, there'll be loads of photos. Loads of work to do as i've never done anything like this. Have saw, will cut! I'll be an electrician, joiner and a plumber by the end of it. Hopefully be habitable by spring but will all get ripped apart again when i get the money together for a high top roof. The van belonged to a member of our climbing club that passed away so hope to put it together as he would have liked.
Chris Cuthbert said… Will need to get a "Scratchy Heid" Graphic for the old van. Lookin forward to getting started on it. Will be amazing up there in the winter. Loads to be doin. Keep safe and warm mate. Best wishes from us to all of you.
Chris Cuthbert said… Were in Wester Ross for the week. An amazing place Had to get down to Applecross quick as we were visiting friends there. As usual, we didnt want to come home. Just about to get a wee van so after a bit of converting with stuff from our old caravan, we'll be on the road. Do we get honourary membership to the Scratchy heid club?
Chris Cuthbert said… Hi Andy
