- Hi John, I didn't get a chance to read the latest weather report, but was wondering whether there was more flooding in Scotland. The floods did terrible damage earlier this fall in the northeast. Fort William wasn't affected was it? When we were in Scotland in July-August we visited the area nearby, but missed out on Fort William. We travelled through Invermorriston and Fort Augustus, as well as Loch Ness, and half-way along the road to Skye when a flat tire caused us to return to Inverness. You live in a beautiful environment, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that. Anyhow, keep warm and dry. Cheers, Kristine
